Yes I did hear. I thought Saw was the worst movie, but I am sure once this one comes out it will take its place. The concept was good, but it lacked in all other areas.
Hi, you don't know me. I just found you while jumping from one journal to another :)
So if you haven't bought a camera yet, here's my opinion.
Personally I'm a cannon shooter, so I recommend the XT, first of all because cannon's got the fastest AF in the world, second because of the handling- I've tried both Nikon and Cannon and I simply love cannon's system, it's much easier to use and simple to understand, whereas Nikon's a bit less clear sometimes. And the third reason is the lenses, Cannon's got the widest selection os AF lenses in the world, and they'll all fit the XT, some are pricey but some are very well priced for their quality.
I recommend the 28-105 zoom and the 75-300 zoom, their quality is great and their price is good. And if you got the extra cash, you could make the latter IS (image stabilizer), it's worth the money.
