You said everything I have in my head about this episode :D

I'm SO curious how they're going to "fix" the timeline. I really like so much about this one (but miss so much about the other too) including Olivia & Walter's relationship and I'm intrigued about Olivia having a relationship with Nina. Even before everything happened, I always felt that Olivia was someone kind of special to Nina, and now in this timeline we see that they have some sort of parental/mentor relationship. Maybe both timelines were "wrong" and that a combination of the two are what's supposed to be right and everything has had to happen to bring them together. I dunno tho, I'm think just stuck on this idea of combining the two timelines :P

Hee, I think that in "fixing" the timeline that they can't erase what's happened in this one.

I'm curious though if everyone will receive their memories back or if Peter will just be integrated into this new iteration of the timeline with him only knowing all that had happened but everyone else just getting moments of dejavu.

I don't think they can go back to the original timeline (and the point is to not, because that ends up with the destruction of redverse and obviously Olivia's death), but that something needs to be "fixed" so as to allow Peter back into existence with everyone knowing him...September helped, but Olivia and Walter are going to have to help Peter now.

Well, I don't take anything for granted with this show, anything could happen you know? ;)

That's what I'm most curious about, whether or not they'll start to remember or if he'll just exist as things are now. I think (and hope) that over time they'll start to remember things, especially with Peter back now.

I agree, and they've already changed the future by altering this timeline. And with Peter now in this timeline, that future isn't likely to exist or at least exist the way he saw it. Now they're all going to have to help each other remember what's important.

True, true, can never take anything for granted with this show.

Fringe is just so hard to wrap your head around because the producers insist that everything that happened in S1-S3 still happened..."what happened, happened"...but then things like the future in S3 finale was just the glimpse of a possible future...but then the Peter just came back into existence still has those memories from the 15 years one would think, right?

GAH. SO CONFUSING.

But awesome! =)

I know! And totally agree! Best episode of this season BY FAR!!! I mean, I've enjoyed the first three eps on an intellectual level, but I did spend the bulk of the time tapping my foot saying, "This is all well and good, but I need my Peter back now." I find it hard to focus on things when I'm just waiting for my favourite characters to come back. (In retrospect, I have no idea how I made it through DW s04 when I knew before the season started airing that my beloved Rose Tyler wouldn't be back until the final episodes ( ... )

Hee, I'm sure we'll get plenty of moments of Peter/Olivia before 414. It's too hard not to...here's frustrated!Peter with the love of his life (or former life, hah?) not knowing him and Olivia being all wary of this stranger who appears to know too much about her and is going to be strangely devoted to her even though I'm sure Peter will try not to scare her off but will need to woo her all over again ( ... )
