What if I don't get re-elected president of Rotaract? Can I choose to not take that personally? Or will I think that all of these people don't respect me or don't trust me or don't believe in me? I don't know if I've said this or not, but I could see myself staying in Juneau for a few years. I know it sounds bizarre, but I find myself thinking in longer terms than I had initially planned. I interviewed for the admin assistant position again today. Since I got it the first time I'd feel really weird if I didn't get it this time, but I guess the competition is a bit different, so I shouldn't get upset if I don't? Apparently I need to learn French.
I was perusing the UN jobs site and saw a position that seemed someone reasonable - except I apparently need to get an advanced degree and learn French. Getting the advanced degree - no big deal, I was already planning on it. Learning French? Ugh.
