I have a kid that walks. She took her first real steps today. -
Decadent
I spent my entire morning rolling around on the floor with my kid, playing airplane, cuddling, reading, and singing. It was approximately ninety five thousand times more fun than anything I have ever done, and that's saying something. I have done some fun stuff. -

I am tired. People who are used to me saying, "Yeah, work is really busy right now," have probably tuned me out over the years, but the degree of nutty that's sitting on my head these days has sucked all the air out of the room that was my brain. Just very busy doing. I Twitter a lot more than I do any writing here. I am still bubbling on doing a blog, but Other Writing has moved to front seat.
Took a little time to take a step back, decide on some next steps, and just think for a little while, and then talk.

The last person i saw before i walked down the aisle was one of the circus performers who were just finishing up getting made up. He was a clown who i was meeting for the first time; he was having a cigarette, i think.

So yeah, the reason I have been completely without energy is that I have expended it all trying to expunge the colony of Smurfs that moved into my lungs the day I left the playa. Not being able to take a full breath for 14 days will take the piss out of you, for sure ( Read more... ) -
Long term exposure to allergens
Doc says I have bronchitis, due to long term exposure to playa dust. In other words? I'm allergic to my job.
