hamilton will be amazing, you HAVE to go. it's really good that you want to do the peace corps. it's actually something i have also considered, though for me i'd like to finish college first, just to have it out of the way. draw emo pictures. ones that contain tears, broken hearts and lonely looking girls. it's fun i swear <3

wow that sounds like the perfect college. i want to look into it more though. i know i want to go to new york, and the only thing i think i'd enjoy in life would be to write. i'd love to be able to relax about school and stuff but it seems like its clinically impossible for me.
i believe you when you say you want to go into the peace corps. your amazing. i'm wearing my i <3 africa at this very moment.
You need to have a degree in order to apply for the Peace Corps, so college needs to be first.
But also, I encourage you to do research, because the Peace Corps can be a dangerous organization for women. There are many a horror story about a woman being placed in a town where people didn't understand why she was there so they just assumed she was a prostitute and she was harrassed and in some instances assaulted. The Peace Corps offers pretty much no help in terms of crime either, so if you are being harrassed/assaulted, you'll have to stick it out until your post is over. Not to discourage you or anything, just do your research before you commit.
Hamilton is an awesome college. It was one of the ones I was considering, but then I found BATES! On one hand, Hamilton is great. It's got an absolutely beautiful campus, it's selective, so everyone is intelligent, and it's got a great and friendly tone all around. I know a few people there, and they are all extremely pleased with the school.
Not to plug my own school, but Bates is similar! It's liberal arts, the people are super friendly, and it's just a great place in general. Good luck!
i don't have my heart set on Hamilton, the fact that it's liberal arts and focused on writing attracted me. but Bates sounds like fun and i'd definitely look into it. where is it?
