I know that I want to improve my French and do the study including arts/literature. It's the total opposite of what I do and I'm scared shitless of the amount of reading
I have to do. Then again, why not? This time around as well, for me, it really will be a discovery of myself and I don't need/want to have to get high marks. Obviously, it's something I'll strive for because that's me. However, I'm more worried about making sure that I just don't drop off the face of the earth and end up with nothing...if that makes sense at all.

All I know is, in terms of income, it might be better to get part time engineering work and study part time initially before just being a full time student.

Too many things to think about!

I've got an itch. I need to scratch it. But after I've scratched it, where does it get me?

In need of more anti-histamines? lol

Good luck with that, I'd dearly love to live in France, somewhere quiet but close to the sea, red wine on tap, and cheese from a Fromagerie, not a ruddy supermarket.
