I used to have dreams about River Phoenix saying things that I read in Hermann Hesse novels.

I laer found out that River was a name taken from a Hermann Hesse book, just thought I'd ask.

OF COURSE! sorry, i'm just a little daft. i do remember reading he was named after "the river of life" (or something like that) from novel. you're right.
