I m on the phome withmy mom yesterday telling her that I was thinking baout working at thetraining stables I go to in exchange fro lessons so I can get out of the house and enjoy myself doing something I like. I was excited

My mom says some things that really hurt. I try to give her the benefit of the doubt but I don't think she realizes how much of what she says affects me. I think you should do what makes you happy. Being in a job for the money will make you miserable in the long run anyways.

Well have a positve attitude about school and study hard and you will do just fine! As for the working at the training stables, talk to Norm about it and find out what he thinks. I have to say I have had to learn not to tell my mother about my plans, cause A she will be very negative, or B she will be to helpfull and will drive me nuts.

I have the same problem with my dad. I want to go to school for Zoology and my mom is fine with that. But my dad wants me to either stay at the Daycare I work at or go work at Disney.. :( I hate working in Daycare, Im stressed all the time and get migrianes, but I guess he would rather me be unhappy then happy.. :( I actually don't care what he says, and I don't think you should care about what your mom says if you want to work at the Stables and go to school for nursing. I say go for it, you only live once why be unhappy for the rest of you life.. BTW I'm starting school for Zoology next year :)

So I say go for it..
