Here up north I haven't heard anything about Newcastle itself yet but in other little end-of-nowhere estates herebouts I've seen corner shops screwed over and friends who ended up with smashed windows or cars wrecked by inventive firework vandalism... The little destructo-monsters would be filling their summer holidays with shite like this anyway, it's just that now they've got an incentive to co-ordinate it all in one big festival of greed and idiocy.
