Is it stupid that my feelings are hurt because my boyfriend has some 60 photos on his facebook and not one of me or us?

It's things that like that make me unsure of how he really feels about me. Which, considering we've been together almost 3 years, sucks.

Maybe I'm just insecure. Although, I never felt insecure when I was alone.

That would piss me off.. it's not like you just met, you've been dating for three years and if there isn't ONE MOMENT in that 3 years he feels is special enough to post with the other fuckton of photos on his facebook, then he's a douch. you need to read "He's just not that into you", it'll change your approach to this bs. He should adore you, tell his friends your the apple of his eye and POST YOUR PHOTO ON HIS FACEBOOK because he thinks your the fucking end-all-be-all. Or, I dunno, even just cool enough to make the social network cut. That sucks!

playing devils advocate here...but, do you have any photos of him or the two of you on your facebook?

I have a lot of friends who keep relationship stuff, including pictures, off facebook pretty much entirely for various reasons, mostly around privacy. It doesn't necessarily have to mean that he doesn't care about you.

having your feelings hurt isn't stupid - could be a sign of something, but it could also be nothing. it's hard to tell unless you ask him, I suppose.

well, of the 3 pics I had on facebook one of them was he and I in a folder called "me and my sweetie". I got pissy and deleted it after our "discussion" about it yesterday. So, yeah, I did try to talk to him about it and it didn't really go well. I'm still hurt, but whatever. I realize it's not the end of the world and I at least communicated to him that I was hurt by it even if we didn't manage to resolve the subject at all.

Lacie, I'm definetly going to check out that book. I need all the help I can get right now navigating my relationship and life in general.
