what ever happened to livejournal anyway? it makes me sad whenever i come on here because most of my friends' journals are now completely dead

yeah, exactly!!! makes me so bummed, haha. some of my favorite communities are barely active anymore and i'm just like, waaahhh.
i agree about tumblr. that's what feels so impersonal about it, i guess, the fact that you're blogging to no one basically because there's no comment system or anything...i mean you can reblog things and comment on them, but still, it's easy to miss comments and things that way, and if you want to have any kind of a thread going that way, your blog ends up looking like a clusterfuck with the same post reblogged like 11 times because you're trying to have a conversation... plus, tumblr is oddly addictive for me...that's pretty much why i stopped going on there the first time, that and i was tired of high school-esque pointless drama on my dash /end rant
