i didn't exactly plan to write about my days because i figured i'd be too busy to bother. technically, this is true... however, i can't sleep, and i don't think i would want to write [or anyone would want to read] a three-day-long post about my birthday weekend

I read that whole thing, its like a short novel. Sounds like you are having fun. My friends never leave so... I guess its never to late for fun!!!
