holiday stuff mostly
Yesterday was totally fun!
wait lets back up. Friday the day after thanksgiving my mom and i always stay in and we decorated, like always and im so happy i was invited because we dont have a lot to do this year and its nice to be with family :]
but i already talked about that so here are the two pictures i took.
and we had roasted ribeye steakes with a wine gravy, yum!
And yesterday we (including my sisters) went to my dads house and had a thanksgiving there. I finally got to have my candied yams >:D! YUM
It was a lot of talking and passing food and really fun. Then we all decorated! My grandma, dad, susan and my sisters.
Apparently christams will be at their house @__@ theyre in for a lot. We always have it at my uncles cause hes git one of those huge pre-fab homes.
It was a lot of fun listening to christmas music and decorating the whole house and just beating up on eachother XD thats a hoff family tradition, we usually end up going home bruised and red lol. Its all fun though. It was really fun, i think this year it seems like everyone is comfortable with everyone and is just enjoying everything.
So anyways i took some pictures
1.My sisters and i, it came out really blurry though ;_; the flash takes forever so i did a lot of them without flash.
2.my sisters and susan with the new rod susand and i made! The curtains and the curtain rod were really ugly. So we dicided to make them holiday like XD We wrapped it in an assload of ribbon then made biiiiig bows for the sides and then made cascading ends, and then wrapped a garland around it to make it look less bare. And added berries. And hannah and i are going to paint a mural on the sliding doors with snow and trees and a deer and stuff. :]
3.And this is the tree with a bunch of stuff on it mostly from my grandma.

5.Susans dad made this harpsechord(sp?) when he was in highshool! It so cool and sounds so pretty!
6.My grandma and the tree :] oh and btw when youre around her you cant say "shit" but not because its a cuss word, but because its her word XD
7.and i wanted to spice up OUR dining room and my grandma gave me a box of 6 bulbs so i decorated our chandelier since we dont have enough room or decorations for a centerpeice on our table. :]
and today since its jons day off were going down to bellevue and were going to go to snowflake lane. For those of you who dont live in washington or have no idea what im talking about...snowflake lane is a street in bellevue by their multiple story mall that goes in a square in the center of town, connected by sky bridges.
And theres music, and theres live toy soldiers that march and drum, and they have REAL SNOW 8D!
lkjsflakjshasdf im so excited. If you dont mind some crowds bellevue is awesome in the holidays.
We also plan on going to snohomish's historical districtand leavenworths lighting ceremony.8D! Did i mention i love the holidays?!?!
I only wish i had something cute to wear for christmas ;_;.. i need those socks from fredmeyer...>_> im going to get some money somehow.
