I'm so sorry for your loss. As much as I love the story world that you are creating, you are dealing with a real world problem and that has to come first.

Grieve. Mourn. Take your time and we can wait.

We had to put my dog down a few years back when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and I was such a wreck I couldn't even drive myself to school. Pets are more than just those animals that sleep in your house. They're family. I'm so sorry you and your mom lost Lily. It's a tough thing to go through.
