You know, I used to count down my siblings as each on of them got married and started to move out of the house. I'd always say to myself " Sweeeet! I'll get the house all to my self, no fighting for the bathroom, no worries about having friends around, nobody telling me to do this and to do that cus I was the baby of the group.
I was alittle happy when my older sister left, but now both my brothers are gone and now I really am the only one left. I thought it would be all sunshine and freedom, but honestly I do miss them alot even the crap that used to annoy me about living with them. The house seems really dull and the only thing that really keeps it alive is my mom.
I guess I just wanted to say, once you live with people for sooooo long, you can't live without the good and semi-bad parts. I think it doesn't mean you aren't independent anymore, just human. *hug*
Aww, I wish we could have gone to Tesco and totally not bought some eclairs >_> Sometimes it feels a little nice to miss someone, so you know you still CAN miss them. It'll make it super sweet when Puppypants gets home too!
I get the same thing with Tim :) I think it's cause you get used to being round each other all the time (especially at home) and then suddenly they're gone and you don't have the happy endorphin flow anymore. I don't think it makes you any less independant though - I usually get used to it after a couple of days and then i can function normally again :) The lack of stress is probably making it worse as you don't have anything to distract yourself with or to motivate you to get stuff done.
Pooey... i sent you a text yesterday... i woulda sent you more full of crap to try to cheer you up if i had known you were feeling blue.. :(
I so nearly phoned, but i thought cause the boys were away that you would be busying yourself with uni stuff and that i'd just be a nuisance!
There is something about being part of a team that keeps you grounded, and when your partner is suddenly gone it sorta feels like you've been cut loose, and you kinda float about without much direction.
Hopefully the next time he has to go away i'll be closer by and and we can do fun girly stuff together =3
