I read an article the other day comparing self-control to a muscle. The point was that if you exercise self-control in one situation then that "muscle" becomes tired and you are less likely to exercise self-control later on. I don't get that. I think will is a muscle, for sure (a weak one for me!), but I'd think you would always be strengthening it. You feel rewarded for completing a task, so you continue to do the same... though sometimes you don't feel rewarded, and perhaps taking some down time is the reward. I'd imagine that taking down time from will could be important, just like taking a rest day from the gym.

Speaking of the gym! It's so awesome! I'm kind of in love.
