Ugh, don't get me started on national insurance numbers. Don't know if it's the same in England, but we could definitely work in Scotland without the number, the law nevertheless required us to get it within 6 weeks of starting work. It didn't really work out like that in the end, I got my number on our last week and Jaana still hasn't got hers since it took us more than two months to even get an interview for a number. :/ But we worked alright, never mind the law...

Sun pitää mennä paikalliseen job cebteriin hakemaan sen national insurance number-keskuksen puhelinnumero. Niitä on sellasissa lomakkeissa, omani oon hukannut, muuten olisin voinut antaa sen. Sitten soitat sinne, ja kerrot että tarviit numeron ja sovit haastatteluajan. Siinä voi kestää, ja haastatteluaikoja on tosi vaikee saada - eli ole agressiivinen ja painosta ihmisiä. Muuten et saa numeroa koskaan!

Jep, Krista on oikeessa...Mulla piti olla haastattelu vasta 1.10, mutta sain jonkun peruutuspaikan ni nyt mulla on se lauantaina...good luck!
