Yep, sort of nothernish... the place is full of Indians. I'm not sure if the dots have any significance, but the white stuff is normally smeared all over the face for supposedly cosmetic reasons.

Well, it's not really as beautiful as it looks. The island we went to is actually over-crowded (due to the influx of refugees during the war) and the majority of people shit on the beach because of a lack of sanitation infrastructure. Smells icky.
