your encounter with the mentally unstable man reminds me of the time i got stuck on a 4hour train ride with a married alcoholic, who after finding out i was a counselor in training...he proceded to tell me his life story, including this gem..."they took my license away after my 2nd DUI. i mean, it's not like i killed anyone."

there is an aura about people in the helping profession, i'm convinced!

I agree! I naively used to tell everyone about my job, which was a big mistake. I finally stopped after this woman bombarded me with stories about her brother's schizophrenia on a three hour flight to Denver. Although I found it somewhat amusing since her brother was convinced that she was Britney Spears and that he would call and chide her for dating Justin Timberlake!

I'm sorry I missed Spinout. I really wanted to go. Were you having apocalyptic weather like Sacramento? We had 3/4 inch hail and funnel clouds! Scary!

Yay for Rusk straighting system! That's what I got too. I'm going to do it again as soon as my hair gets a little longer.

Spinout was fun; I know Brett plans to arrange another date very soon. I just assumed you went to Austin for the SXSW event.

The weather was fine when I arrived in San Francisco yesterday evening. The rain dissipated except some clouds rolled in. I heard on the news that a tornado swept through South San Francisco yesterday and destroyed 20 homes and business including a new fire station. WTF??

Anyway, I totally recommend the Rusk straightner. My hair is so silky smooth!!

Man, that's one thing I don't miss about public transportation... ALL THE CRAZIES!!! It's even more intimidating when you're alone. AND you can't let on that your bothered because then they start acting weirder and creepier. Egads!!!

The Spinout sounded like a lot of fun! Glad you enjoyed yourself. :)

Yeah, that's why I hate doing things on my own. It just makes me a target for people who view me as vulnerable. Fortunately, Eric and Ami were by my side despite the fact that they giggled so hard and could not save me!!!
