We're offically homeowners! :)
We got the keys on Friday Nov. 9th. We closed Friday Nov. 16th :) Everything went so smooth with this house! :) We're all moved in and everything is pretty much unpacked. We haven't hung any pictures on the walls or anything yet. But we're getting there!

Things are just getting more tangled up. It's nuts. we got a call on friday from our old agent telling us that the house we were originally going to buy is ready & we can move in. The guys second mortgage company approved his pay off. So it went from 5-10 days, to 4-6 months and then an answer in two weeks. We were like WHAT!?!?! Pete told her ( Read more... ) -

:) I spoke with a new agent today. Who happens to work for another century 21 office here in town. He was referred to me by the other nurse I work with. Spoke to him at about 1pm today. He emailed me links to some houses. we picked two houses that we just loved from the pictures. Went and looked at the first one tonight at 630pm. We just loved the ( Read more... ) -

Well.. Sept. 19th came and went.. still didn't move.. We went to look at the repairs that he agreed to do, because he said he was done with them. The stuff looks worse then when he started. He took the wood panelling/tile off the wall, because it looked tacky... well it looks like he didn't even sand anything down, it looks like he just left the ( Read more... ) -

OKay, well at lunch today I called the sellers agent. He wasn't too sure about talking to me in the beginning, because I have an agent, and thats like against their policies or something. But I told him flat out, I'm getting the run around from my agent, I'm about ready to fire her. It seems to us that she is taking the side of the seller over us ( Read more... ) -

it's sad that I'm not even excited about buying a house anymore. I'm actually depressed about it. I thought this was supposed to be a fun time, and a good fun time to do something with eachother. But it's making us mad.. We're both short tempered. I can't stand it ( Read more... )
