My husband hates the post office too. Some days our post office smells weird...I do hate that! I like scratching things off the "to do" list though. It makes me feel accomplished! :D I like the post office a lot better now that we print out labels from the computer & don't have to wait in line. If you're not already doing that, maybe you could consider trying it~ it means you will get finished with your postal errands much more quickly! :)
I didn't know...rurik_lebedovOctober 21 2005, 14:20:19 UTC
...you did knitting and crochet....have you ever considered trying your hand at naalbinding? I want to learn that...it looks really cool, and you can make your own socks and stuff....and it's historically correct for the 1st milennium....:-D

I haven't tried it! I have read about it though. I had some magazines with articles on it...but, I think I might have sold them on ebay. I will check to see if I still have them.
It was crochet that started me on my textile design adventure. My great aunt taught me how to crochet when I was little. From there I taught myself to hand knit. From there I went to school for textile design & learned machine knitting. Early in my career I designed circular knit fabric for a major manufacturer for more than a year~ my knits have been in quite a few of the major mass market chains~ walmart, target, sears, mervyns...plus a few of the trendy teenybopper stores like wet seal, contempo casuals and pacsun. Yep, I am into knitting & crochet. :D
