My name is supossed to be from the French meaning "loved one" :p I wouldn't really consider it a french name though.

I can say, I'm French : Anne laure (that's my name)... and I won't mention the other 2.. no way..
but here are some more : Sarah, Francine, Juliette, Danielle, Eleonore, Lynda, Laurie, Evelyne, Josephine, Alice, Catherine, Jacqueline, Marie, Cecile, Francoise, Diane.....

I won't guarantee that they all have a french origin though..

i just came across this blog randomly and left a french name behind.. i'm sorry.. i'm not really sure if the name's french, but i have a friend who went for french classes and and her teacher gave her the name adele.
