We've got a D-Link now and I have to reboot it every so often. We give a major workout, though. Eric is a download junkie, lol.

Heh, I forgot. Our modem is provided by Earthlink. I don't know what it is. But it needs rebooting every month or two. It's our wireless router that is D-Link.

my husband says likes the 2Wire and Motorola. He says there's one model of the 2Wire which doesn't have overheating issues, but unfortunately doesn't know which model. (Unfortunately we did this whole research just over a month ago when we switched to AT&T.)

And I'm sorry to hear about your mom. :(

Thanks. Wish I knew which model didn't overheat! I guess I could start by finding out which model my mom has and work through the available options from there.

Mom is in the early stages of stage 4 lung cancer. She's doing ok so far. I'm staying in the present as much as possible.
