I'm here at Erin and Megan's house waiting for the party to come back so I can join them for Erin's bday. I'm feeling a little left out-- not that the unknown saxiphonist playing in the living room helps that at all. I just wanted to take this moment of calm and boredom to update a bit on my life. Kevin has been back from his job for a week now. Oh

oh karla!!! i'm happy you wrote this while at my house!! hah!! thank you SOO SOO SOOOOO much for coming out on my birthday! that really meant a lot to me. and you and kevin are such a great couple, i'm very happy for you both!

awww, this post made me tingle with happiness! in a world so full of people not getting along and where we only talk about the "bad" stuff, it's nice to hear someone discuss all the goodness of a relationship and of another person. yay for that! don't apologize for that sort of thing. i'm happy basking in your happiness! man, i miss you! i'll be in salem for a nanosecond in october; don't think i'll make it to portland. want to come down and have coffee with me?

Please don't tell me that this "I hear some of my friends complaining about how terrible so and so was to them or I hear about marriages are falling apart and I am just thinking to myself how much sympathy I am feeling for these fantastic women..." refers to me because of the interesting situations I have got myself into in the past. i don't want you to feel sorry for me and probably no woman would. The things women like me have been through with marriages not working or having arguements with so and so are part of what have made us who we are today and I know from my standpoint i would do it all over again in the same way because I learned about live and myself becuase of these things. And while it might be hard sometimes i at least have lived passionately and followed my heart through and through. that might sound bitch but its not at all intended that way
