thanks for everything, always. and by everything i mean listening to me as I cried, all the salad times, for putting up with my constant mood swings and rants. thank you for giving me guidance on WHO i was when i wasn't sure myself. thanks for not getting mad at me when I get tired and irritable, or hyper and stupid. i could & can always tell you everything, even things i wasn't proud of or thought you'd be dissapointed in me for. thanks for laughing at me about silly girly stuff, and my little crushes. thank you for letting me sleep at your house all the time, even when i'm not technically invited. basically, thank you for putting up with me, with all my insecurities, and for always telling me you love me.

this might just be a waste of time
but there's no one i'd rather waste my time with than all of my best friends
so start the car up, we'll all take turns but not for the worst
we're all "hasbeens" and "never-were's"
and we're all in the back singing "Roxanne" just watching life pass us by
as if we cared, enough to try and catch up
enough to make up for lost time
we've been down, we've been out, we've been hanging 'round
tip our glasses to having no direction
start the van, get me out of this one horse town, waste this night
