So I just spent about 2 hours making chickpeas curry and it is so delicious I think I might just die. Either that or eat it all, because no one else in my house will be having any. You should have heard the complaining! Muahahaha.....

I went into a Sals on Pembina last week, I recognized one of the waitresses as a former co-worker. We got to talking. After the a solid 3 minutes of boring re-introduction, "what have you been up to?" middle aged relative type shit chat, I finally got to ask what I wanted.
"Do you know Burton Cummings?"
"No."
"Has he ever come in here before?"
"Yes."
"I bet he's a total cock."
"Yes, he comes in right before close, piss drunk and acts like he owns the place."
"He does? Drunk, hey? Pretty sweet."
"He walks into the back and makes lame jokes, pretends he knows what he's doing. He's a fucking loser."

I hear burton hangs out at a Holiday inn somewhere in Winnipeg and every weekend he gets drunk as shit and invites everyone to his place to smoke weed when the bar closes. I hear he sits around high and plays the piano with all the people sitting around.

Anyways, Fude is pretty good. I've been there twice and once I had this amazing fruit curry. It's insanely spicy but the fruit softens the blow a bit. Price-wise... I think it was about 40-50$ for 2 people not including alcohol... pretty average.
