i tried to download the evaline song but my internet shut off for a second so that makes the link like...not usable for quite a while :| so i'll get back to you on that one. and i skipped out on the my favorite highway and pierce the veil songs just because i wasn't too into the vocals for them, BUT...

i think the choice of ~cupid was a good one just because of the vicinity to valentine's day and i love the sound of both sam cooke and amy winehouse. his version was smoother and quicker and i think that worked for him, but i liked amy's slower, kind of rough version - the thing is that it wasn't rough at all, but it's just her sound. i really like it. it was fun to compare the two so thanks for that! i love covers.

c rec? WELL....this is like hardcore cheating, but phil campbell's cover of "i'm so tired" by the beatles is one of the best i've heard, so you might wanna check that out
