HEY! remember that poem from my class that i told you about? i found it!
things in parentheses are (not) important
stoned and silly, we sat in (the) dark rooms, recalled (only) stories of the childhood that passed too quickly,(time)that streamed down our fingers like sticky popsicles (i) slurped in summer. secrets we (wished) shared over ice cream and road maps suddenly (i) have form, and inclination. n’awlins showed what you don‘t know, (asked)why you don’t know them. a million reasons (why) you should drive, and only one tugging at your sleeve, begging (you) to stay. just when I thought I had gotten ahead, I am(left)behind.
