Disney World is huge. The odds of running into someone you know are very slim. If you did, however, you'd expect it to be someone who lives in Orlando--someone who frequents the parks. While at Epcot with my cousins Amanda and Max yesterday I ran into, of all people, my COUSINS Andrew and Sue who live in Virginia. I never thought i'd say this, but ( Read more... )

I love Disney trips! :D Also, I had a terrifying experience on the Tower of Terror when I first rode it years ago... I'm kinda over it now, and can sort of enjoy the ride, but even still. I'll never forget how scary it was when I was like, 10, and I was forced to sit in the middle (where there's no one in front of you, in the back row) and instead of getting a lap bar like everyone else, I had to use this flimsy seat belt thing, and I couldn't get it tightened around my lap cause I was so tiny, so it was huuuge on me, and when we dropped, I literally flew like, a foot and a half off the seat... *shudder*

uggh, i would have died. DIED!

They changed the ride now. No one has a bar to hold on to, it's a seatbelt for everyone!

AGHHHHHHHH that's AWFUL!!! But you know why they probably did that?? Cause one time, I rode the ride and got to sit on the normal bench and use a lap bar, but! A really really... well, large... person was sitting next to me... and consequently, the lap bar came nowhere NEAR my lap ;p So uh, yeah, I definitely was lifted up off the seat really high during the drop ;p

I'm really hoping your dad was the guy at Tower of Terror who told us to move to the "DEAD center" of the room. Ohh the witty death puns! We wanted to high five him, but he quickly vanished. Spooky!
