(Ooh, just whilst you mention Black Plastic - in case you're still looking for places there's a new venue round my way, Bar Kino, and they said the other day that they're looking for people to host parties there.)

They've been staying open til v late recently - their Comadisco night earlier this month went til 6. Not sure if it's a regularly allowable thing but maybe it's worth checking.
