1. Of all the bands/artists in your CD/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?
Depeche Mode. Between me and my wife, we've got over 80 DM singles, albums, etc...

2. What was the last song you listened to?:
Devotchka - How It Ends

3. What's on your record player right now?:
You know, I've got an old TEAC turntable, but it hasn't played anything in years.

4. What song would you say sums you up?:
Seal - Still Love Remains

5. What's your favorite local band?:
Devotchka. They're based in Boulder, if you consider that local.

6. What was the last show you attended?:
Interpol's show at the Fillmore in Denver.

7. What was the greatest show you've ever been to?:
Difficult decision. Failure at the Ritz in 1996 was pretty damn good. The first time I saw Depeche Mode in 1990 at Dodger Stadium was also pretty wonderful. But out of the 200+ concerts I've been to over the years, Nine Inch Nails at the Fillmore (again, Denver) was as energetic as all hell. But then, so was Catherine Wheel in 1994. Damn, its so hard to say. Sisters of Mercy? Fuck.

8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert?:
The Dresden Dolls, opening for NIN this past May. Ugh.

9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of?:
REM

10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been?:
Eh, I've never really been that involved. I tried to get my friend Ryan from the Kevorkian Death Cycle some airtime at Chapman U's radio station, but that's about it....

11. What show are you looking forward to?:
Like mairet said, Depeche Mode in Denver. But hell, we've got third row seats. What's NOT to look forward to...aside from the Visa bill? Oh and Jennifer, its suicideking4766, not 4866. ;P

12. What is your favorite band shirt?:
Those sumbitches never fit me anyway. I don't bother buying them anymore. You'd think it was an issue with my gut, but rather, my shoulders are too square. I guess that explains why people used to think I was a linebacker in college.

13. What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
Why would I want to do a thing like that?

14. What musician would you like to be in love with for a day?:
At one point, I had a zipper-busting crush on Sarah MacLachlan. Then I heard her speak.

15. Metal question... Jeans and Leather vs. Cracker Jack clothes?:
Huh?

16. Sabbath or solo Ozzy?:
Ozzy under ATV is music to my ears.

17. Commodores or solo Lionel Ritchie?:
Commodores, bitch!

18. Punk rock, hip-hop or heavy metal?:
None of the above. Its all image.

19. Doesn't Primus suck?:
Primus sucks. Jerry was a race car driver.

20. Name 3 flawless albums:
Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion
Erasure - Chorus
Nitzer Ebb - Godhead

21. Did you know that filling out this survey makes you a music geek?:
Too fucking late.

22. What was the greatest decade for music?:
90s, by far. By a fucking country mile.

23. How many music-related videos/dvds do you own?
Upwards of 15 or so. One by NIN, two by Erasure, two by Pet Shop Boys, everything from Depeche Mode, one from Filter. I can't think of the rest.

24. Do you like Journey?:
I love Journey. Send Her My Love still gets me all teared-up.

25. Don't try to pretend you don't!:
K.

26. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?:
Flesh and Bone by Thomas Newman

27. What's the crappiest CD/record/etc. you've ever bought?:
Electronic's sophomore album in 1996. What a fucking let down. It still hurts.

28. Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?:
If I had a $12,000 turntable with a laser needle...oh, and if they still made LPs that didn't cost $30 bucks a pop...maybe I'd still be loving the analog. Sadly, digital is the only way anymore.

29. All totalled, how much do you spend on music a month?:
Upwards of $150. I'm an iTunes whore.
