Children of Men is probably the most difficult movie I've ever had to sit through. And its not that its bad, or overly long, or poorly acted, or whatever. Its probably the most...fully realized movie of its kind since Blade Runner, at least in the sense that it paints a grim and uncertain future, but does so without dazzling us with special effects ( Read more... )

Great shots. I liked the Devil's Tower silhouette and sky.

It's too bad they're not showing Children of Men in our local theater...I'm anxious to see it.

I couldn't even come up with the words to describe Children of Men when I saw it, but I think you summed it up pretty good. Amazing shots on that site, what kind of camera do you use?

Right now, the Canon 5D. Most of what's been shot up there was shot with a DigiRebel 350 or 300.

Man...I miss that TV show.

I absolutely loved children of men as well. All aspects of it- the story, the execution, the cinematography. The continuously-shot scene through the refugee camp was fuckin amazing.

I'm also using picasaweb, although I haven't set up a favorite shots folder yet... I need to do so. I already have 'em all starred in picasa. Anyway, here's mine:
