the amount you get bumrushed various from day to day... sometimes its not much, other times it all sneaks up on you and you just get bumrushed into the ground by it all.

....

*grins* im glad ive introduced the word bumrushing to some people down here. i feel so fulfilled

I think crap days are contagious at the moment, particularly around here. Hope it gets better soon :(

Can I ask how much you're roughly looking to spend on a student house (per room)? We have a single and a double bedroom we'd like to rent out possibly to students but I'm not sure whether they'll be willing to pay as much as maybe getting someone who works. The benefit of students is no council tax and they won't be around much in the summer. Ho hum, talking to myself now.

Hope things get better soon :(

we have found a super amazing house now. but there are five of us anyway so a smaller house wouldnt have worked.

Oh sorry, you misunderstood me. Wasn't offering my house, just needed to know how much I could get for it if I rented them to a student lol. How much were you looking in the region of? Do you reckon that it was about average for what students are looking for?

I haven't even started my essay yet. Got an extension. I still don't have a clue what to write about. If you have any brainwaves please let me know.

hehe oh rite. it very much depends on the sizes layout and loction of the house. i mean most people will be looking around 240 - 280 a month say. we were looking for up to 320 a month but found something better than the ones we'd been looking at for 240. its weird. i think anything between 230 to 300 is the price range really. but you will find people looking outside the bracket. most landlords just charge a set price for the house say 1200 and then you can decide if you want three in there and a spare room or four etc and split the cost.
if the house is close to uni and town you can get more for it. thats the only sorta continuity ive seen while househunting. some places are nice some arent but basically the price could be anything and only the location seems to have a great effect on it all. *mutters*
