Today I met with Sanghoon to pick up a girl arriving from Korea. On the way to the airport we had a talk. About a year ago I told him about my tactic for finding a girlfriend - I meet many girls and agree to hang out with them on different days, that way if one turns me down or cancels, I won't feel bad because I have someone on the next day

I wonder if the girls could "sense" that you really weren't all that into them in particular and were just going for someone to be with. When the right person comes along it just clicks. And no matter how hard you try to "just be friends," or how hard you try to turn friends into girlfriends, the relationship will be what it is. If they are only interested in getting together with you the night before they leave then they probably have don't have a relationship frame of mind. I don't know, having a grand tactic never seems to work well for people. All you can do is be honest with yourself, if you want the grand love of your life, if you want a companion for a while, if you want a short but passionate affair, all of these things are good, but you have to be honest with yourself as to what you want. You cannot do anything about how others perceive you all you can do is perceive yourself without blinders.
