Harvey/Mikey Domestic abuse [warning]

Mikey has been working at PH for just about a year and lately Harvey has started to notice Mikey flinching away from touch.. And just being overall jumpy. Is that a limp in his step?

Basically Mikey has this new bf [few weeks maybe?] who oddly enough reminds him a lot of Harvey (looks, style, what have you) but one big difference.. This guy beats the sh!t out of him every chance he gets.

Harvey figures it out - goes all protective made - something happens to the bf (Harvey gets him arrested, has people on the inside - author's choice) and he gets a taste of his own med when guards look the other way..

Mikey breaks and tells Harvey the entire painful truth. He promises to protect him from then on. Mikey has always loved Harvey and now Harvey admits it too.

A very whump tastic h/c dark!fic - descriptive/detailed - angsty personality for Mikey.

Rated up to a strong R but not nc17 unless you wanna include mention of non-con/rape.

These parts are just. Wow. You are truly blowing my mind here. This is so perfectly written. It's breaking my heart, but it's so good.

"And he can’t bring himself to say you, Harvey, I need you, so he just leaves it hanging and presses his knuckles to his mouth. There’s a pause, and then Harvey speaks."
This part made my cry. I can relate to the feeling of trying to get someone to understand that you just need them. It doesn't matter what else is wrong, you just need them to be there.

This is shattering my heart into itty bitty little pieces, but I hope your last author's note means things will start picking up for Mike. Either way, your writing is so beautiful that it alternatively makes things better and worse - makes each hit harder, while leaving me eager for more!

A/N: Thanks so much for all your comments ♥Harvey lets go of Mike’s hand only when the cab pulls up in front of Harvey’s apartment building. Mike closes his hand and feels the emptiness in the hollow of his palm. Out of the corner of Mike’s eye he sees that Harvey’s still wearing his long-sleeved shirt, the same one he wore to dinner

Mike can feel Harvey’s gaze on him, but at this moment he can’t, he just can’t look at Harvey, because he’s afraid of what he’ll see in Harvey’s eyes. And with a jolt Mike realizes that he can deal with what Simon did to him-it will still haunt him long after the wounds heal and the scars fade, but what will actually break him-absolutely ruin him-is to look into Harvey’s eyes right now and see in them the knowledge, the pity, the disappointment.

“Mike,” Harvey speaks in a low voice. “Look at me.”

“Can I use your bathroom?” Mike says, his voice strained-he digs his fingernails into the flesh of his palms to stop the tears from welling up, but the dam is dangerously close to bursting and suddenly he can’t be in the same space as Harvey, can’t let Harvey see any more of how pathetic, how weak he really is
