Chapter 25: ‘Dude where’s my car’ and ‘Punk’d’
“Hey, where’s Yoochun?” Jaejoong blinked when Junsu answered the door.
“He went out to get breakfast. What are you doing here?”
“Don’t be that way. There’s no reason to be so mean,” Jaejoong frowned. “I’m here to pick up Yunho’s car.”
“Why? So you can drive it off a cliff? And why did he send you? Since when are you even on speaking terms?”
“Junsu, I don’t have time for this. Just give me the keys and I’ll leave,” Jaejoong said and put out his hand.
Junsu rolled his eyes and walked back into Yoochun’s apartment. He picked up a pair of pants from the floor and fished the car keys out of the pockets.
“Here. It’s parked right up front. Bye now.”
“Up front? I didn’t see it when I came here.”
“You should look better then! We parked it up front. I’m sure.”
“Then show me where,” Jaejoong said.
“God, Jaejoong. It’s to early for this crap,” Junsu sighed and put on a t-shirt and a pair of slippers before closing the door behind him and walking down the stairs. Jaejoong followed him, biting away a smile.
Junsu froze when he got downstairs. He stared at the empty space where he was sure was supposed to be Yunho’s car.
“Maybe Yoochun took it…”
“But you have the keys, don’t you?”
“Well, maybe he had a spare!”
“Don’t yell at me,” Jaejoong frowned again. “I’ll just wait for Yoochun to come back. “
“Fine, do whatever you want,” Junsu mumbled and went back inside.
“Hey, what the hell is your problem,” Jaejoong suddenly exploded making Junsu turn around and gawk at him.
“You are!”
“Well…I don’t deserve this crap from you!”
“You made out with my boyfriend!”
“He wasn’t your boyfriend then. And he wasn’t your ex either. Oh, and if it wasn’t for your stupid rejection he would never have gotten drunk with me in the first place!”
“Oh, so it’s my fault now?” Junsu asked pointing at himself in disbelieve. “So what if he wasn’t my boyfriend? You know Yoochun is off limits! He was off limits from the second I liked him!”
“Why are you two screaming at each other in the middle of the streets?”
They turned around and saw Yoochun looking at them amusedly.
“He started it,” Junsu muttered.
“Whatever. I’m here to picky up Yunho’s car. Where is it?”
“Right…here?” Yoochun stared at the empty parking space. “Junsu, where did we park last night?”
“I thought we parked right here. You didn’t take the car with you?” Junsu asked.
“No, the grocery store is just around the corner…wait, I’m sure we parked it right here…”
“But it’s not here,” Jaejoong sighed. “So where could it be?”
Yoochun peered down the street, but found nothing that resembled Yunho’s car. “But I’m sure…”
“So what are you saying?“ Jaejoong asked. “It’s stolen?”
“No…it can’t be right?” Yoochun looked at Junsu who just stared back.
“No, it can’t be.”
“Then were is it?” Jaejoong asked again.
“You asking that question a million times isn’t going to make the damn car appear, okay?” Junsu snapped.
“You being an asshole isn’t going to make the car appear either,” Jaejoong bit back.
“Okay, so maybe Yunho came back for it last night? Maybe he needed it and took it…” Yoochun tried to be rational, but he was starting to panic.
“No, he sent me here to pick it up, remember-hey, when did you cut your hair?”
“A few days ago, do you like it?”
“Yeah, it’s so sexy and-”
“Hello! Crisis here?” Junsu intervened. ‘Stop talking about your stupid hair and concentrate n finding Yunho’s car.”
“My hair isn’t stupid,” Yoochun gasped.
“So you’re admitting you lost the car?”
“This is starting to sound like the movie ‘Dude, where’s my car.’”
“Do you even know what that movie is about?” Yoochun asked.
“No, but the lead role was hot.”
“Totally-”
“Okay, I’m calling Yunho,” Jaejoong said and took out his ‘new’ cell phone. It wasn’t exactly new. It was one Shirley had lying around her apartment and gave to him after his got flushed.
“You can’t!” Yoochun shrieked out and dropped the bags he was holding. “You can’t tell him. He’ll kill me…he’ll…” He stopped talking when Jaejoong cocked up an eyebrow.
“You mean just like how I begged you not to tell Junsu and Yunho about what happened? I’m sorry Yoochun, but Yunho is my friend and this is his car. This is to big to keep to myself.”
“But…” Yoochun turned around to look at Junsu for help.
“Yunho is going to kill you,” Junsu said.
Yoochun squinted his eyes. “Oh, you are so going down with me.”
“I have nothing to do with this! Yunho trusted you with his car, not me,” Junsu shook his head and picked up the bags from the ground.
“It doesn’t matter. You’re mine now, so my fuck ups are your fuck ups!”
Jaejoong thought that was disturbingly romantic. In a way. Maybe not.

“What did he say?”
“His exact words were: ‘I’m coming over right now and if they leave their heads are coming off.’ So I guess you should stay.”
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” Yoochun snapped and threw a pillow at Jaejoong’s head.
Jaejoong caught it and smiled. “For once I’m not the one in a shit load of trouble. Do you know how much that car means to him? It was the first thing he bought with the money he earned as a model. Sentimental value, dude.”
“But I don’t get how it could have been stolen. There wasn’t any glass in the parking space, so they couldn’t have broken a window…”
“Stop trying to figure it out, detective. Just except the fact that Yunho is going to punch you in the face. Maybe he’ll punch Junsu too. Then you’ll have matching black eyes and everyone will know you’re a couple.” Jaejoong laughed at his own joke and Yoochun threw another pillow at him.
“You have to protect me, Jaejoong. He’ll listen to you. You guys have history…you had sex!”
“If everyone I had sex with listened to me I’d be the president right now,” Jaejoong laughed. “Plus, you don’t even deserve my protection. Especially not Junsu. He’s been mean to me all day.”
“His live isn’t at stake here! Okay, listen,” Yoochun sighed and stood up from his bed. He walked over to Jaejoong who was leaning against the kitchen counter and grabbed a hold of his arms. “I didn’t want to do this, but if you don’t protect me I will have to tell Shirley who stole Changmin’s first kiss.”
Jaejoong rolled his eyes. “They both hate me already, so I don’t have anything to lose.”
“Okay, fine, I’ll tell them that you told us everything about their sex.”
“What do you not get about me having nothing to lose? I don’t have any friends any more, Yoochun. You can tell everyone anything you like about me.”
“I’ll tell Yunho you love him.”
Jaejoong shrugged.
“I’ll tell him you told me all about that time you had sex.”
Jaejoong shrugged again.
“I’ll tell Heechul you were the one who stole half of his shopping bags when we went shopping that time!”
He scoffed. “Like his opinion of me could get any worse.”
“Fuck. Junsu get out of there!” Yoochun yelled right when Junsu stepped out of the bathroom.
“What? Stop yelling. What did Yunho say?”
And that’s when the bell rang.

“Sit down on the bed. Both of you.”
Yoochun and Junsu did as they were told.
“Yunho I-”
“What were you two doing last night?” Yunho asked.
“We went to see our parents and after that we drove back home,” Yoochun answered hesitantly.
“And after that?”
“We just stayed home, I swear,” Yoochun said and stood up. “I’m sorry, I’ll look for it. I’ll go tot the police, I’ll do everything, just-”
“What did you do when you got home?” Yunho asked, pushing Yoochun back onto the bed with a light shove.
“We just…had sex.”
“A couple of times,” Junsu added giving Jaejoong a look. Jaejoong rolled his eyes and flipped him off.
“So since you were so engrossed in your sex you wouldn’t have heard the alarm of my car go off?”
“Of course I would! But it didn’t go off!”
“Liar. You wouldn’t have heard it. Just like you wouldn’t have heard me ringing your doorbell for 15 minutes in the middle of the night.”
“Wait…what?”
“Seriously, you still don’t get it?” Jaejoong chuckled. “The fact that you’re still alive should be a huge hint.”
“If my car was really stolen, I would have hung you both on the tallest tree in the city, just so you know,” Yunho laughed. He explained the whole thing and Yoochun wanted to cry.
“Do you know how bad I felt? It’s not even noon and I’ve already wanted to cry 10 times!”
“We’ve been punked,” Junsu said.
“We get it,you think Ashton Kutcher is hot,” Jaejoong rolled his eyes and Junsu glared at him.
“Seriously though,” Yunho intervened. “I know you guys really like each other and sex comes easy for you, but there is more to a solid relationship than that.”
“Get out of my house, I don’t like you anymore,” Yoochun said and stood up again. “And I don’t like you either, Jaejoong. Since when did you get all chummy again.”
“Chummy,” Junsu said.
“What are you talking about? We’ve always been friends. Come on, Jaejoong, let’s go break up with your boyfriend,” Yunho said and stuck out his hand.
“What?” Jaejoong asked confused.
“You said you wanted to break up with Taegoon, right? Let’s go do it.”
“Yeah, Jaejoong, go break more hearts,” Junsu said.
“Hey, stop being hostile,” Yunho warned. “You’ve been mad long enough.”
“But he-”
“No, just stop being hostile. Come on, Jaejoong. We have work to do.”
