Author: Suju_shinki
Pairing: YooSu

Genre: Fluff
Summary: Yoochun has to work on the night of Junsu's birthday party and decides to stop by afterwards
AN: My first time trying something serious. Well, Kind of..

Yoochun knocked on the door softly. Which was kind of weird since everyone was probably sleeping and no one would hear his knock. He knew that. But still he knocked softly. But surprisingly he only had to wait about 30 seconds before the door opened.

“Hey, Yoochun...”

Yunho was rubbing his eyes out and Yoochun felt bad for waking him. Yoochun wasn't even there for him.

“I'm sorry, hyung, I-”

“It's fine. Junsu missed you, you know? He was acting like he wasn't, but it was obvious,”Yunho shrugged and let his friend in. “Go wake him up.”

Yoochun nodded and crossed the living room of the apartment Yunho shared with Junsu, to the room he had gotten so accustomed to the past few months.

He didn't knock, just entered Junsu's room and sat down on his bed.

Junsu's face was buried in his pillow, his hair was wet, probably from taking a shower. When Yoochun came closer and smelled the almond soap he had smelled so many times before-and had even showered with himself- he was sure of it.

“What are you doing here?” Junsu murmured.

A small smile lingered on Yoochun's lips. “Don't be mean...I heard you missed me?”

“Bullshit.” Still not looking up.

“I come baring gifts,”Yoochun tried and Junsu opened one eye to look at him.

“I don't want your gas station gift.”

“It's not a gas station gift. I got it a week ago.”

Junsu sat up and although it was dark in the room Yoochun could see the glare. “Where is it?”

Yoochun smiled and took the little box out of the pocket of his jacket and placed it on Junsu's knee. “And it's way better then your ring,” he added.

“Never,”Junsu snorted and took the small box into both hands. “And I didn't miss you at all. Why would I? I knew you wouldn't come? Where you even invited?”

“Junsu...I'm sorry. I should have been there-even if you didn't want me there,” he added when he saw Junsu open his mouth. He shut it again and then said: “Yeah, you should have.”

“I'm sorry. Don't be mad.”

“I'm not. I'm fine. It doesn't make any difference. You were busy and you're not my boyfriend.”

“...Right. So no hard feelings anymore?”

“There never were. You're not my boyfriend. I am kind of mad you woke me up though-”

“You weren't asleep,” Yoochun smiled.

“Yes I was.”

“No you weren't.”

“Yeah, I totally was!”

“Junsu...”

“Okay fine, but I was going to sleep. Same thing.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

“So are you going to open it?” Yoochun asked, amused.

“Sure, turn on the lights.”

Yoochun got of the bed and turned on the lights. Both of them closed their eyes automatically because of the brightness, but got used to it again quickly. When Yoochun got back to the bed Junsu was holding a thin, simple silver bracelet. He looked up, his mouth slightly open.

“Don't give me that look. And you don't have to say anything either. I know it's awesome.”

“Thank you.”

“It's cool.”

“Thank you for not forgetting.”

“Did you really think I'd forget?” Yoochun chuckled and hugged the boy sitting on the bed. “I already said I was sorry for not being at your party. If I could have been there-”

“You don't have to say it again. I get it. But you're not my boyfriend so you can stop explaining.”

Yoochun let go of Junsu and looked at him seriously. “You should stop saying that. The whole 'You're not my boyfriend' thing is annoying.”

“It's true-”

“It's what you want to be true.”

“So I don't want you to be my boyfriend, but you are?”

“You don't want to want me to be your boyfriend, but you're failing.”

“So I want you to be my boyfriend?”

“Do you?”

“...No.”

“And If no means yes and yes means no?”

“...No.”

Yoochun smiled brightly and a warm feeling settled in his stomach. “So being with you all this time wasn't for nothing after all.”

Junsu bit his lip and looked at his brand new bracelet. “Guess not.”

“You can go back to sleep now if you want,” Yoochun said hesitantly and got up.

“What? You just got here!”

“It's almost 4 in the morning Junsu.”

“Who cares! You haven't even confessed to me yet. You can't just let me do it and-”

Yoochun sat down and leaned in closer to Junsu so that their noses touched and the sweet smell of almond filled every last bit of his soul. Junsu stopped talking and just stared back at him before they both closed their eyes and made most of the moment. Lips touching lightly, for 1, 2, 3, 4 seconds. It wasn't their first kiss, but it was the most meaningful kiss the both of them had ever shared with anyone.

“I want you to be my boyfriend, Kim Junsu. I don't care how stupid it sounds, but I want you to get mad at me for missing your birthday party and I want you to want me to be there.”

“Okay,” Junsu nodded. “I can do that.”

Yoochun got up again but Junsu held on to his hand. “No.”

“I have to go home, Junsu. Jaejoong us probably waiting for me-”

“No, I'm not.”

They both turned their heads to see where that voice came from and found a grinning Jaejoong standing in the doorway.

“Jaejoong, come back!” Yunho hissed at him from somewhere.

“The sexgod calls, I can't hang around anymore. Have safe sex or live with the consequences~” he sang while walking out of sight.

“God, those guys are weird. I didn't even know Jaejoong was here,” Junsu sighed.

“That's 'cause you were distracted thinking of me~” Yoochun moved back onto Junsu's bed and hugged him tightly.

“We'll make this work, right?” Junsu asked softly, wrapping his arms around Yoochun's torso.

“Yeah...we will. We already know each other well enough to make it work.”

“We already know the sex is good.”

“And you just ruined the sweet moment.”
