5. The fight
The next day, when Yoochun reached his parents' house for a weekend at home he couldn't think about anything but Junsu and Taegoon having sex.
Yoochun had seen them kiss a few times, never too much, just hello or goodbye kisses and he didn't feel anything at those times. But the thought that Junsu had kissed him last night when he may have been kissing Taegoon a few hours before. They could have slept together that day, Yoochun didn't know. 'We did it a few times,' Junsu had said.
This changed things. Yoochun was continuously wondering if Junsu found him a better kisser than Taegoon. He regretted telling Junsu he was still a virgin, taking away any 'mystery' in that apartment. He hadn't had sex ever, what was there to think about. Junsu on the other hand...he wondered whether he liked topping or bottoming. Or whether his name ever crossed Junsu's mind during. He imagined Junsu naked, moaning, penetrated and couldn't get rid of the image anymore.
Yoochun sat down at dinner wondering what could have happened if he didn't leave Junsu's room. It could have been more than a kiss. There could have been tongue, they could have laid down, good things could have happened. And then there was that 'T' pendant that Junsu had to show him. Forever a reminder that Junsu was taken, that every time they saw each other they were betraying this other guy, Junsu's actual boyfriend.
After diner Jaejoong called him. "Junsu's lips look really soft. Are they?"
"What are you on about, dude?" Yoochun asked.
"Did you guys French?"
"No. Why all the questions all of a sudden?"
"I'm bored. So there was no tongue at all? Who kissed who first?"
"I can't remember, Jaejoong."
"Then do you like him now?"
"I don't know. These questions are hard."
"Yoochun, I think I'm going to do what you're doing and just not care that they're dating. I bet he'd like me more if he really got to know me."
"Are you talking about Yunho and Changmin? You can't just go after him like that, Jaejoong!"
"Why? You're doing the same thing."
"Still, its...different."
"Only it's not. I'm not going after him and neither should you go after Junsu."
"What if he comes after me?"
"Ever heard of 'Just say no'?"
"No, Jaejoong...I don't want to..."
"God Yoochun, how can you even say you don't like him?"
"I don't! It's a pride thing okay? If I can get him, why not? It's good for my ego and you know how big my ego is. And really, Jaejoong? Don't you think it's time I have sex even if its just once?"
"What?! Yoochun, you sound like a total asshole. You're using this kid, ruining his relationship just so you can feel good about yourself and get laid while at it? You're like the bad guy in every movie and I don't like it."
"I appreciate your honesty," Yoochun sighed.
"But you're still going through with this?"
"I don't know. Hold on, I have another call. Hello?"
"Yoochun? Hey..."
"Junsu? Hold on a second- Jae, I'm hanging up, Bye."
He didn't wait for a reply and clicked Jaejoong away.
"Hey, I'm back," he said.
"If this isn't a good time, I could call back later, it's no big deal," Junsu said hesitantly.
"No, it's fine. I wasn't expecting you to call though...after last night," he added. He didn't want to act like nothing had happened.
"Yeah, about that...I hope it didn't make you feel too weird. I should have never...I mean we shouldn't have...We weren't supposed to..."
"What are you trying to say, Junsu?" Yoochun asked and Junsu laughed nervously.
"I don't really know. I mean you know why it...shouldn't have happened. I'm with Taegoon and I love him and I really don't want him to find out."
"I already told you I wouldn't tell anyone," Yoochun reminded him.
"Not even Jaejoong?"
"No," he lied. He could never keep a secret from Jaejoong. He wasn't even thinking when he told him.
"I'm really sorry for all of this...I was just confused I guess. I still am. Taegoon is a good guy and I do love him."
"But clearly there's something missing," Yoochun said and looked at himself in the mirror in his room. His parents had said he looked thin and Yoochun had waved it off as just something parents said, but now that he looked at himself he thought it couldn't hurt to work out more. Taegoon, being the perfect guy he was, had muscles all over the place.
"I don't think I'm missing anything, Yoochun. Last night...it was a mistake. I didn't mean to lead you on, I'm sorry."
Yoochun stared at himself in the mirror blankly before frowning. "Sorry for what exactly?"
"...For making you think I liked you back."
"For making me think you liked me back? I thought I made it pretty clear that I didn't like you in that way?"
"Come on, Yoochun. It's pretty obvious. You kissed me last night, isn't that proof enough?"
"Proof of what? I don't need to like you to kiss you and clearly neither do you." Yoochun was getting mad, but he didn't exactly know why.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Junsu asked.
"Nothing. And keep telling yourself you're not missing anything in your relationship with mister Perfect. I hope it helps you sleep at night."
"And what the hell is that supposed to mean? Hey?!"
Yoochun hung up and threw his phone onto the bed. It bounced and landed on the floor, the battery falling out. Knowing Junsu he'd call again. He hesitated for a few seconds before leaving his room and leaving his phone on the floor.
