~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~

After a nice, long and relaxing shower Eunhyuk set off to find Kyuhyun to have a friendly battle with the new game the magnae had purchased earlier.

‘Hyung, ready?’ Kyuhyun asked as he was untangling the control wires from the previous use of the machine.

‘Of Course, Bring it on’, Eunhyuk showed his victorious gummy smile before the game has even started.

‘Hyung, what’s there to bring? We know you’re going to lose anyway’ He replied returning the victory smile.

It was true though, Eunhyuk knew he was going to lose, no one defeated Kyuhyun aka gamekyu named by the other members of the group. No matter who tried, they were defeated. Eunhyuk thought it might be a bit of fun hanging out with the magnae other than Donghae which he was currently trying to avoid.

‘Ok, everything’s ready’ Kyuhyun said slightly frustrated after untangling the wires. They both made their way to Kyuhyun’s bed, Eunhyuk sitting at the foot of the bed and Kyuhyun resting against the headboard.

First, fixing the game’s setting to their liking, second choosing their fighters and now the game was on.

10 minutes into the game; Donghae walked past Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s shared room, all he could hear were whines from Kyuhyun asking for another round and Eunhyuk’s cheerful laughter. Donghae stood on the opposite side of the door from the two in the room, ear pressed against it, listening to what was being said.

‘Donghae-ah, what are you doing? You know you could just go in’, Sungmin said patting Donghae on the shoulder.

‘I know but I cant, not right now’, Donghae was feeling a little upset that his Hyukkie wasn’t with him. His?

‘Ah, it’s because him isn’t it?

Shit, how did he know?

Kyuhyun? No it’s not him’, Donghae laughed awkwardly hoping that the elder would drop the topic of conversation.

‘Don’t be silly, Kyuhyun’s mine. It’s quite obvious that you like Eunhyuk, we’ve known for a while now’.

Donghae’s jaw dropped.

‘We?’

‘Yeah, the whole group actually’

Another awkward laugh left Donghae’s mouth.

‘Yeah, don’t worry, I think it’s cute and I’m pretty sure that he feels the same way’ Sungmin nodded showing that he was positive about his thoughts.

‘Hyung, don’t lie’ Now trying to keep a smile in, his Hyukkie might feel the same for him.

‘Whatever you say’ Sungmin then proceeded towards the kitchen after smelling Hankyung’s famous Beijing Fired Rice.

~*~*~*~*~* 3 Hours Later ~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*

Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun’s palms were now wet with sweat. Some of their hair plastered to their foreheads. It wasn’t that much of an intense battle but both tried their best.

‘Good game’ Kyuhyun said slightly out of breath.

‘I know right, even though I lost all of them’ Eunhyuk said, his breathing slowly returning back.

‘We should go eat now; I can smell Hankyung’s famous Beijing Fried Rice’.

And with that they walked out to the kitchen, Kyuhyun sitting himself next to Sungmin, comfortably wrapping his arm around Sungmin’s waist. Normally Eunhyuk would sit next to Donghae but today everyone noticed that he sat himself next to Shindong. No one said anything and started the family dinner. Shindong and Kangin were stuffing themselves with food, which was a usual, that’s why they were the strong ones of the group. Eunhyuk occasionally glanced over at Donghae, Donghae wasn’t touching his food, and well he was touching it but not eating it. With the rice and veggies on his plate, Donghae had arranged it into a person’s face. Once he thought it was complete he didn’t realise it resemble a person that he knew of. Yesung and Ryeowook, who sat on Donghae’s left, looked over and saw that it was- no, it couldn’t be. Hankyung on the other hand said the first thing that popped into his mind when he saw the creation.

‘Hey, isn’t that- ‘He pointed towards Eunhyuk, then realised what this meant, a small ‘o’ formed on his face. Eunhyuk was still eating until he felt many eyes staring at him, he looked up and saw the members looking at Donghae’s plate and then looking him. He, himself then had a look at Donghae’s plate, it looked exactly like him. Donghae’s faced flushed with embarrassment, out of things he could’ve done with his food he ended up making Eunhyuk’s face.

‘Ah, um I don’t- I’m not hungry’, Donghae left for his room. He knew he would be left alone, well at least for a while.

~*~*~*~***~*~*~*~*~*~*

‘Ah, dinner was great’ Shindong said happily while rubbing his stomach.

‘Thank you Hankyung!’ Everyone said together.

Hankyung was thrilled to be always praised and thanked every time he cooked for the group. He would everyday for them of he could, but someone stood in the way, Ryeowook. That kitchen was mostly Leeteuk, Ryeowook and Sungmin’s; no one was allowed to touch the cooking equipment.

Everyone had moved from the dinner table, some helping with the dishes and others just watching some TV. Eunhyuk sat next to Kangin on the coach, he felt bad some how, something he didn’t know how to fix. The room was quite, the movie was beginning. Members were getting comfy in their positions; Eunhyuk was deciding whether to cross his legs or leave them or pull them up, finally deciding on crossing his legs. Only 10 minutes into the film one of his legs started to feel numb, he started shaking it to get rid of the feel. While shaking his foot Kangin whispered to him.

‘Just go talk to him’

Eunhyuk only nodded. Getting up from the coach, he entered the kitchen limping a little from the numbness, and reach for a glass of water on the counter. I should’ve just stood instead of crossing my legs. Standing did the trick, the numbness had disappeared.

Slowly making his way to Donghae’s room, he thought about what he could say. Arriving at the door the words he had planned to say disappeared, opening and then entering the room, he saw Donghae on the bed, his back was facing Eunhyuk and it was shaking.

Eunhyuk felt his heart break into two, he just wanted to go hug the boy like he usually when he was in tough times, but he couldn’t move, his body was frozen. After mustering up the courage he walked over to the bed and slipped in under the covers. He felt Donghae’s little body freeze, stopped shaking, and stopped sniffing. Eunhyuk wrapped his arms around the stiff body, he knew he shouldn’t be doing something like this but felt like he had to.

Feeling Eunhyuk’s arms around him, Donghae felt a little awkward. He tried to free himself of the hold but the only made the elder hold on tighter. He decided that there was no way he could escape so he snuggled into the warmth that was currently available. His eyes were slowly closing, waiting for the next day to arrive.

Eunhyuk was awake; he knew that Donghae had fallen asleep; he could feel the younger’s soft breaths. Eunhyuk couldn’t sleep with him; he thought that Hankyung would walk into the room and see the two cuddling. This wasn’t such a big deal but with the current situation he’s in, he couldn’t. Eunhyuk slowly removed his arms and slipped out of the bed.

‘It’s for the best’ he whispered to a sleeping Donghae.

Donghae moved a little, thinking that Donghae was still asleep he exited the room.

After the click was heard from the door closing Donghae’s tears began to flow all over again. Just when he had thought things were going to be alright with him and Eunhyuk, it turned worse.

Eunhyuk, why did you have to go?
