[SUB][NEWS] and ranting ^^

Hmmm, are you curious as to what I'm talking about? Yes, it's got to do with that "sub" tag. Alright, the episode was upped on d-addicts since Friday, no one volunteered to do softsubs (hardsubs will be done by Kioku Fansubs).. so I thought, "I wanna try!". Did I give enough hints? I wanna scream RYO-CHAN, but that's just too big a hint XD
So, yes I did. I did softsubs for the first episode of Last Friends. It was my first time ever; translating a drama and typesetting.. I'd already had a little experience with timing. So, if you decide to give my subs a try and have any suggestions or criticism please do tell ^^
So, I did the timing using the 704x396 DivX6 AVI uploaded on d-addicts.
It's a .ass file. Plays with media player classic and zoomplayer (from Combined Codec Community). Couldn't get it to work with VLC. Anyone know if .ass files don't work with VLC?

Don't forget to give the sub file the same name as your AVI file (except for the extension of course XD)
There are a coupla spots which I didn't translate 'cause either I couldn't tell what they were saying or I just couldn't bother XD It was just 3 tiny spots, and the talk was insignificant to the story (less than secondary people were doing the talking XD)

-, Timing Ryo-chan's parts was the hardest XD He has really short lines, and when he was given longer ones he just spat them out in one roll XD It often feels like he stumbles on his own words XD

-, On Ryo-chan again. I kinda cringed a coupla times for his acting, but then melted all the other times ^^; He's still super good looking even when he's mad. I think they chose a good actor to play the bad guy ^^
-, Masami and Asami.. Masami has good facial expressions, but totally fakes smiles and laughter in an annoyingly obvious way ^^; She also screeches a few times which kinda bugs me. Asami on the other hand ALWAYS screeches XD
-, Juri is cool. I like her ^^
-, Eita is cool too. I really liked him in the bar scene ^^
-, CAPS! I wanna do some caps for more comments. But they will be spoilers. I don't have time right now -more like I should be in bed. I'll do them tomorrow or sth ^^

My ranting:
A few days ago I was reading a book while on the train going back home. As always I had my headphones on with ofcourse JPop music. I can't remember what music was playing, but all of a sudden I heard .. a voice, speaking in Japanese. 1.5 seconds passed before I realized it was not coming from my mp3 player, nor was it from my surroundings. Somehow, my head had created a perfect illusion of Yamapi's voice. It was so real. Unfortunately I can't remember what he said. A line that sounded a lot like something coming from a drama. I... froze for a coupla seconds.
That night, or the night after, I dreamed of Yamapi. First something blurry about NEWS, then, the only part I can remember. Someone telling me that the "organization" (I'm thinking my head got confused with the Jimusho XD) was selling Yamapi for 9 million dollars O__O Tell me that's weird, 'cause I think it's weird. First thought that came to my mind was, "he's not a football player!" XD Who was he being sold to? My dream didn't tell me. I just remember having a horrible feeling in the dream upon knowing that.. I didn't wake up too cheerful either ^^;
First thing I said -outloud- this morning as I kicked the blankets: darenimo makenai atsui kimochi de.. O__O
ummm no I'm not obsessed O___O I've had more obsessed periods. This has kinda been the relaxed period actually XD
DEFINITION:
Anyone hating je-secrets? Well, not hating it. Just, getting annoyed at people who are taking advantage of it to bash other people and show how little respect they have towards idols and their fans.
Anyho, yeah this is a trailing thought from the last time I read one of those posts.. how long was it? weeks? I was actually about to comment on a "secret", but didn't. I don't wanna play their game. I don't want to give them the authorization to spread such nasty thoughts around. And I feel that's what I'd be doing, if I gave in to their instigation.
Ugh, that's not what I wanted to talk about. I think there's a misconception going on in a lot of comms and forums. And that is the meaning of the word SPAM.
There are many environments in which that word may be used, each having a specific meaning to it. But in general, spam means unwanted mail or messages, mainly having commercial content, or, especially when forums and blog comments are concerned, random and unsolicited text.
So. If a person writes in his/her own journal, I doubt that could be considered spam. If a person posts to an Arashi community, for example, endless news and tidbits about Matsumoto Jun-kun, I doubt that could be considered spam.
People just have too much free time on their hands. They either complain 'cause they're getting too much info, or they complain 'cause people aren't sharing O___O
I was tagged TWICE for the same meme!! I was planning to do it this weekend but ended up .. not!!! XD Sorry ^^;; Will get to it as soon as I can ^^

By the way, about the subbing thing. I wanted to give it a try, that's all. I can't guarantee I'll be doing any other episodes. Hmmmm I wonder if anyone would be willing to do the timing ^^;
Edit2: thanx to nodokuto who's tried the subs with the 1280x720 version of the video and told me it appears to be working properly ^^
