I'm feeling fairly angry at the moment I found an article earlier today outlining that five times as many people in the UK are affected by M.E/C.F.S than they are with AIDS..... Not only that but it's still not a 'real' illness.... Right then

I'm going to start pulling resources now and I've asked on a few CFS forums for input into bits and pieces.

I just want to show people I might not be able to do half of what I could 5 years ago but fuck it I'm still a force to be reckoned with....

ME is definitely not a fake illness. Our neighbour next door has had it for 12 years, and it sounds awful. We rarely see her because she's housebound most of the time.
If you're ever feeling isolated, Hazel and I aren't far away.

I know it can actually take the will to live from you some days, especially when your friends are out having fun or just because you can't do normal stuff people your age do all the time. You do get used to it, but it'd be good to know that a crack team of gov't scientists are working on a cure - just in time for me to regain normally towards the end of my twenties ;) - or at least thinking about researching a cure. I know things like cancer and AIDS require more research - they're fatal and horrible diseases - we can't die from ME it just steals the sufferers vitality for lack of a better word.
I'm champing at the bit to meet Hazel (and squee)hopefully the doctor will deem me safe when I see her later :) xx

<3 @ you, you are one of the most loving and empathetic people in this city Ali! You don't act different now cause I'm lame you just call me instead of meet me and send me lolsome texts :D I'm glad people like you are on our side cause you could argue that the polar icecaps were indeed tropical and people would believe you :) x

I'm just pissed off people in worse situations than me get left to rot essentially :( I'm not going to sit on my laurels though.... Ignorant people have it coming =p Iz a woman on a mission baby! x
