Process Development Associate

Under the general supervision of the manager of process development operations, the associate is responsible for implementing product procedures and creating scalable processes. Responsible for the implementation of product procedures to optimize manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements. Assists in process development. Assists in creating scalable processes with improved product yield and reduced manufacturing costs. Researches and implements new methods and technologies to enhance operations. Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

In short: No idea.

I'm so jealous. Have you read anything about Theory of Constraints?

I hadn't, but I have now, and I think that it is probably relevant to why I got the job. The main constraint was the lack of people, so they are moving from 3 to 5 people in the lab. Now it's going to be optimizing yield per batch and balancing multiple projects in terms of what is in which bioreator when.
