But... but... but... can't I still hate the day for other reasons like the fact that its rampant commercialism overshadows a muchmuchmuchmuch more important day- February 13th?

It's an extremely important day, and will have ultimately changed the course of historical events! If you don't know why, then I'll have to kill you...

I don't know exactly what happened on that day....because lots of "important things" happened, but it's also your birthday, which is SOOO important because you're such a super cool awsome intelligent dude that it should be a global holiday to celebrate and appreciate you.

But I also hate Valentine's Day because if you abbreviate both words, you get VD...
