You have no right to say such things to those already in desperation; flay their hope and give them despair; be so dismissal of everything and everyone. What gives you the right to be so superior? Niente.

But if you must have an answer I have one for you: Yes. Strength of will and determination can just as easily see a person through the impossible as skill. Perhaps 'easy' is not quite the right word--but see them through nevertheless it can. The way is never barred if you do not bar yourself. Nothing is true; everything is permitted. Death is not always the only option, and anything is possible.

So yes. I will survive, and I will see to it that those under my care will as well. No matter what happens. Ever.
