I am back from Portland (Oregon).  The city was so early 90's!  Doc martens and pink hair everywhere.  One morning I amused myself by counting the number of people who had the word "punk" written somewhere on their clothing.
Kurt Cobain was certainly not dead.
But it was such a comfortable city to me-- no hassles, Powells city of books,  nice coffee

Fro-yo just doesn't do it for me. One taste of GROM gelato in Italy, and there is no going back...
