Hi Suknao, I was very moved by reading your post. I really recognise some of the things you wrote about ... the demands of temple life and then how much we miss it when we are away. Finding a balance is complicated. This year I went to stay at a lively temple in Jpaan and it made me realise that all the people were working so hard becuase of their gratitude for the teachings. That really changed a lot for me.

We should listen to our Dharma friends carefully, but at the same time if we are uncomfortable with their suggestions of how to work for the Sangha there are always many types of support we can give the Sangha ... finding the natural way to express our gratitude and praise the Buddha is part of our journey. Best wishes with finding a job and with your Dharma path!
