Christmas Creep

When I was a kid, I remember that the Christmas season started a day or so AFTER Thanksgiving. It seems that it has creeped it's way past Thanksgiving, past the week of Thanksgiving and has settled, for the moment, on November 1st

I agree. Generally seeing ANY Christmas decorations or hearing the music makes me want to fire bomb people houses and the stores. For whatever reason this year I was OK with it yesterday when I was shopping. Not before that, but yesterday.

Maybe because I had decided to do a ton of my shopping yesterday and today to avoid the crowds. Last year I did 90% of it online and it was not as fun. This year I got all the kids covered in 1 trip to Kohls, and a lot of the adults at the Gap yesterday.

It made me warm and fuzzy today to hear Harry Connicks rendition of "What are you doing New Year's Eve" ::swoon::

Other than today and yesterday I am all with you!! I saw it before Halloween in Target this year. I volcalized my objections and cracked some people up in the costume aisle.
