Ever since my freshman year in high school, I helped with the Christmastime food drive at the church we went to. I've done it something like 18 years in a row. Ray (they guy who's run it for 30 years) called me and left a message saying we'd meet at the church at 1pm and deliver the food at 5pm. I'm still bumming that we missed it this year. I guess it makes sense now, in hindsight, that Ray meant that weekend and not the one we thought because he NEVER calls that far in advance. What did you tell Ray? Did you explain that we'd be there next year? I'm so afraid he's going to stop doing it and then we'll be done too. I'm not going to think about it again this year because it makes me sad. LOYL
