Yeah-huh. It seems like this will be okay in the long run, but there's such a WTF? factor it's weird.

Yeeeeah. I'm mostly curious how this will be maybe thirty or fifty years from now? Right NOW everything seems okay, but as things get older the copyright gets funny and... hmm. And the issues with the movies is also weird. Comics and cartoons are probably okay for the most part.

That is true. And Marvel had been around for over 50 years so it's likely it will be around another 50. I'm just not happy when big companies buy each other. It's just not a good thing in my book. With movies, I don't think they'll change too much other than they will have the Disney logo on them which WILL JUST BE WEIRD AS HELL. But like Priates was pretty decent and PG-13, so I doubt they'll try and make them all PG or anything.

I agree. I'm sure there isn't too much to worry about, but just the idea of a big company buying another big one is unsettling. And if we didn't have the Pirate movies out I'd be really worried about future Marvel movies, but Pirates shows Disney can make good PG-13 movies.

It could either be very good or very bad.

It's obviously very good for Disney. I'm hoping they'll take what they can get out of Marvel, but let them run themselves. :/

Yeah, I'm mostly curious how this will turn out in the long run. And what happens to older properties and stuff. 0: It's mostly those little things I'm curious about, because I'm sure Disney won't touch the comics and Marvel cartoons will just move to the Disney channel and things like that.
