I don't understand people with "OTPs" either. Why does it have to be that only one pairing is allowed to happen? Or, since it's fictional, why does it matter at all what someone else likes? D: I like Russia/China a little for the whole COMMUNISTLOVE aspect, but I sort of feel sorry for anyone in a relationship with Russia... haha.

Ahh, I still haven't seen The Princess and the Frog, but I've decided I must before it gets out of theatres and possibly Avatar. Tarot cards are entertaining though... I've played with them a bit, but don't really put much stock in that sort of thing but it's still fun. Hercules did get some development, but Meg got a lot more in comparison... from what I recall, Hercules started out as extremely naive and just wanted to become a God, but later on decides love is ~more important~.

I feel so lame because I ever like any sort of pairing (that isn't pure crack, anyway) it's usually just the main couple that's completely canon. CLEARLY I'M JUST SO BORING! But since I'm not even into romance anyway I just don't see a huge deal in--er, for me personally. I totally understand other people liking it. I don't understand them liking it enough to throw a huge hissy fit when there's any minuscule threat to their OTP but...whatever. though, on the topic of OTPs, i do have those... though idk if they're so much OTPs as preferred ships? like, for the animorphs, i obviously OTP rachel/tobias, but as you can probably tell, i'm not a crazy fangirl over them either and can like rachel/marco or even, shit, marco/tobias just fine.

Oh oh, I love the shippers who always hate the author forevers!! and think they're so horrible if they don't write their ship, too. Like, wow. Can I ask what more did you want Tiana to do? Because to me, she did a hell of a lot. But I feel that people have such impossibly high standards for how much female characters should be doing in the film, and that I feel that really wasn't a flaw in The Princess and the Frog

O-oh geez, man, I DID NOT MEAN IT LIKE THAT. I just meant I wanted her to do more because that would mean more of her because MORE OF TIANA IS AWESOME BECAUSE I LOVE HER. Like, uuuuh, she totally did enough for the plot! Like standing up to the Shadow Man and poking Naveen into being a better person and growing as a person while still holding on to her dreams! I don't think she just sat there doing nothing! or anything, really. I just loved Tiana a lot and kinda wished the movie focused on her more since she is so awesome. If it was anything else I'd probably be more inclined to say I HOPE THERE'S A SEQUEL SO WE GET MORE TIANA but uuuh. Disney sequels usually suck. So.
